Unlike sheep’s wool, alpaca fleece contains no lanolin, meaning it doesn’t require washing before use. This makes it easier to work with and ideal for beginners as well as experienced makers.
Our fleece comes directly from our own much-loved Huacaya and Suri alpacas, carefully skirted and selected after shearing. It is completely natural, untreated, and unwashed, allowing you to enjoy the fibre just as nature intended.
You’ll receive a beautiful selection of natural alpaca shades, from creamy whites and soft fawns to rich browns and black — no dyes, no chemicals, just pure alpaca goodness.
