What to Expect

An exciting opportunity for any pony lover to spend a private one-to-one unique experience with Samantha at Park Hill Farm and 'own' Mabel or Lacey for a day. Farm duties start at 10.30am -3.30pm, including refreshments and picnic lunch. ​This is a unique day on our farm to step into the boots of a pony owner for a day filled with fun, learning, and pony care adventures! Its a must for any horse/pony lover (aged 10+) to spend time with our horsey experts and take care of your very own pony. You will complete all the daily tasks needed to care for a horse, learning along the way. Learn the basics and understand what it takes to care for a horse. You will dive into the responsibilities of horse ownership, learning essential horse care skills such as handling, grooming, daily routine, feeding and watering, maintenance checks, hoof care, health, equine first aid, saddlery plus lots more fun! They'll soon be able to tell their withers from their poll and forelock from their fetlock! At the end of the day, they’ll receive a stylish gift box containing a BHS First Pony Manual, a certificate, rosette and keyring to celebrate their hard work. This adventure also includes refreshments and a beautiful Picnic Basket lunch surrounded by Alpacas! ​
